Art Basel Qatar marks Art Basel’s fifth premier event and its newest global fair, bringing together leading galleries, artists, collectors, curators, and cultural voices from around the world. Hosted in the heart of Msheireb Downtown Doha, the fair sits at the intersection of contemporary creativity and one of the Middle East’s most progressive cultural districts.
Art Basel will debut as a tightly curated showcase celebrating Qatar’s vibrant cultural landscape and the wider MENA region’s dynamic art ecosystem. The inaugural edition will take place at M7, Qatar’s creative hub, alongside, alongside satellite exhibitions and activities across Msheireb Downtown Doha and the city beyond.

Designed as a living cultural district, it blends restored heritage buildings with striking modern architecture, galleries, cafes, and public spaces. Getting there
By Metro:
We encourage attendees to use public transport when travelling to the venues of Art Basel Qatar Fair. Msheireb Metro Station (the central interchange for the Red, Green, and Gold lines) has direct access to Msheireb Downtown. Within 2-3 minutes visitors can reach DDD as their first stop in ABQ26.
By Car:
Underground parking is available throughout Msheireb Downtown Doha, with all B3 levels fully connected. Visitors heading to M7 and Barahat Msherieb are recommended to use the Barahat Msheireb North Access Point, which offers the closest and most direct access to the venues of ABQ26 through Lifts 1 and 2, The Galleria West Access Point is also available as an alternative connected entry.
For Doha Design District (DDD), the preferred access is the Sikkat Wadi Msheireb Access Point, providing direct connection via Lift 13 to reach the venue. Clear wayfinding signage and event staff will guide visitors efficiently and safely from all parking areas to their destinations. (Note: parking fees apply)
