Hayya Visa Application and Visa on Arrival Hotel Terms and Conditions

Hayya Entry Visa (HEV) and Visa on Arrival (VOA) Hotel Booking

  1. HEV & VOA hotels are only to be purchased by those who require a hotel in order to fulfill their Hayya Entry Visa application requirements, and those nationals who require a Discover Qatar hotel in order to fulfil their ‘Visa on Arrival’ requirements, and their travelling companions. For those who do not meet this criteria, the hotel reserve the right to charge for the room(s) at their best available rate.
  2. HEV & VOA hotels are booked on the board basis (Room Only, Half Board etc) as stated and doesn’t include extras or incidental charges (e.g. laundry, Minibar, room services, etc.).
  3. A minimum of 2 nights and a maximum of 60 nights can be booked under this offer.
  4. The hotel reserves the right to charge the customer for any additional hours, Discover Qatar will not be responsible for the rates charged.
  5. A valid hotel booking confirmation and passport are required to be presented at the hotel upon check-in to avail the room(s).
  6. Standard hotel check-in and check-out times are 15:00 and 12:00 respectively. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability.
  7. HEV & VOA confirmed bookings are non-transferable.

  9. Maximum occupancy in a room is up to 2 adults and 1 child below 11 years of age using the existing bed configuration.
  10. Passengers below 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.
  11. Any special requests like bedding, smoking/non-smoking rooms, connecting / adjacent rooms, etc. are subject to hotel availability and cannot be guaranteed.
  12. Amendments are not allowed once a booking has been confirmed.

 

Amendment and Cancellation Policy

  1. Once a booking is made, amendments are not allowed.
  2. Booking is refundable if cancelled 48 hours before the arrival date and is subject to a service fee of QAR 100 per booking.
  3. Cancellations less than 48 hours before arrival are subject to 100% cancellation fee. The following exceptions may be given at our discretion and are subject to a service fee of QAR 100 per booking, as long as you contact the call centre on +974-4144 5150 or email dqinfo@qatarairways.com.qa no more than 72 hours after your service was due to commence:
    • Flight was cancelled or changed by the airline.
    • Compassionate grounds (such as the bereavement of a dependent/immediate family member), supported by official documentary evidence.
    • Entry rejection by the authorities upon arrival into Qatar. Note: If your Qatar entry rejection was due to incorrect / insufficient document preparation 100% cancellation charges will apply.
    • The State of Qatar rules of entry into Qatar change in a way that materially affects your booking
  4. In the event of a refund to the Customer after the deduction of applicable Fees, the relevant amounts will be transferred back to the party by the same payment method used to make the original booking. Any Fees applied will not be eligible for reimbursement. Refunds may take up to 1 month to process.
  5. Every effort will be made to confirm a booking exactly as per the client’s request; however, in case of no availability, Discover Qatar reserves the right to offer similar alternatives.
  6. Discover Qatar reserves the right to update the prices of any of the hotels, excursions and other services shown on our website.
  7. Discover Qatar reserves the right to cancel a booking at our sole discretion and for any cause without giving reasons for the rejection/ refusal/ cancellation. The causes may include but are not limited to the following:
    1. Breach of the Terms & Conditions by a customer
    2. Suspicion of criminal activity (including but not limited to unauthorized use of a credit or debit card), fraud or theft
    3. Product or services not being available or no longer being made available by the supplier, or where the supplier has provided inaccurate price and/or information relating to their products/services
    4. The provision of inaccurate, erroneous or misleading information by the customer
    5. Problems with credit card electronic communications, information or transactions
    6. In certain cases, we may require additional information or verification to validate and confirm the booking. If you choose not to submit the required additional information, reservations will not be completed and will be voided.
  8. All changes are subject to the respective suppliers' terms and policies.

Important note: In case your booking is used to apply for Hayya or obtain a visa, it becomes non-refundable.
