Discover Wing Foiling

Schedule

Timing: Will be confirmed one day prior to your arrival based on the wind conditions
Frequency: Daily | Duration: 1 hour

This course includes a wing foiling lesson, based on the level of experience of the student. The course is taught from the pristine shoreline of FKB resort and covers the following (depending the number of hours booked):

Theory of Wing Foiling (on land)
Equipment set up (on land)
First Wing Flying experience at the beach
First Wing Foiling experience on the water with a directional high-volume board
Riding upwind and downwind
Learning transitions with a directional board (intermediate level)
Riding on a foil board (advance level)

What to Expect

Meet and greet your instructor
Visit the FKB Kitesurf & Wing Foil school to be fitted with all necessary safety gear including harness, booties, helmet and impact vest
A short explanation of wind theory and safety
The content of the Wing Foil lessons depends on the level of experience of the student

The participants must be:

a confident open water swimmer
of minimum age 11 years old
of minimum weight 32kg
Guests aged 11-16 years old can only book private (1:1) lessons

Course timings will be confirmed one day prior based on the wind conditions. In the event of no wind for the kitesurfing an activity package of equivalent value or a free re-schedule will be offered.

Tips:

What to wear: Board shorts or water leggings, water lycra (rash top), sunglasses, sun protection. All available for purchase at FKB resort.
We recommend that you bring a change of clothing for your comfort
Food and beverages are readily available on site for purchase

Accessibility:
Kitesurfing uses wind power with a large power kite to pull a rider across the water. This physical activity is not suitable for customers in a wheelchair or with limited mobility. If you have any specific questions please contact us for more information.
